About me
Gaston received his doctorate in computer science from the University of Waterloo. He is skilled in Symbolic and Algebraic computation, in particular, solving equations (symbolically and numerically), system development, limit and series computation, heuristic algorithms, text searching, and sorting algorithms.
Gaston also developed Darwin Programming Language for biosciences, which would become the basis for OMA, a package for gene orthology prediction.

About me
Mardi holds a Master of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and an Honor’s bachelor’s degree in political studies from Queen’s University.
Mardi served as Vice President, of AI Governance Programs for NuEnergy.ai. Recognized as an expert in the field of AI Governance and the AI regulatory environment. Mardi also served as Chair of the Muskoka Watershed Advisory Group and Chair, of the KidsAbility Foundation.

Tim Snider
About me
Tim holds a Master of Computer Science from McMaster University and a Bouvier-poodle named Patsy.
Tim has worked with big data since helping to move the Oxford English Dictionary from paper to disk and creating one of the first (pre-Google) full-text indexes of the internet. Tim has also worked on a variety of commercial and research projects, including a column-oriented analytical SQL engine, a SQL to C translator, and a text analysis tool based on probabilistic finite automata.

About me
John graduated with a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in 2008.
Since then, he has worked with Tim Snider and Gaston Gonnet on a variety of projects before joining PolyML in 2018. John has over 15 years of experience
delivering enterprise-ready software solutions to clients in Banking, Insurance, and Manufacturing, covering data integration, data asset pipelines, and data analytics tools and processes.

Chris Bobotsis
About me
Chris holds a Master of Mathematics in Data Science Degree from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) degree from the University of Toronto.
He has past experience working in startups in the data science and artificial intelligence field and is an officer in the Royal Canadian Navy Reserve.
